He said 30 families have benefited from the maize distribution with the help of the funds sent by their partners in United Kingdom (UK).
Mandlopa believe the donation has been timely taking into account the current situation in which many families are looking have a chance to purchase maize for their home consumption.
“We normally support the communities on annual basis. We noticed that they have been affected by hunger so we decided to support them. We are pleading with other well wishers to come out and assist them either with cash or buying food stuff,” he stated.
On Cyclone Freddy, Mandlopa said that they want to reach out to many survivors in southern region especially in Blantyre and are going to establish a camp.
He said the camp would be used to provide medical services to the survivors of the cyclone and the staff would be hired by the Church. One of the beneficiaries, Catherine Mbosanje commended Family God Church international for providing them with food which was like God walking on her door step.
