Malawi Tourism Council’s board has appointed Exploits Universty Graduate and alumni Innocent Jana Kaliati as new Executive Director to the Board. Jana replaces Richard Mdyetseni who was appointed on Government business to Dubai. The appointed is contained in a press statement signed by Jones Malili MTC Board Chair.
“Malawi Tourism Council’s board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Innocent Janna Kaliati as the new Executive Director of Malawi Tourism Council (MTC) with effect from Monday, 1st November 2021, Innocent is a Sustainable Tourism consultant and holds a Business Degree from Exploits University.” Reads the statement in part.
Prior to the appointment , Jana worked as a General Manager of The Responsible Safari Company and founder of The Eagle’s Eye Malawi.
Meanwhile the Exploits has announced registration of January to June 2022 intake. This brings another yet exciting moments for to the students to access quality education.
University Marketing executive Ashraf Patridge says the school is registering new cohorts for all programs.
“We are registering all students at the moment for all programmes and we are urging those who have just been waiting for this moments to come and have this opportunity of accessing higher education.” He said.
He said others might ask why people should study with Exploits University. “The answer is simple Exploits is accredited with National Council of Higher Education (NCHE) and fees is just affordable here than any where with qualified human resource as well , I promise that we will continue offering good quality education in ensuring that the students graduating from the University are marketable.” He said.
Patridge said the school is now in progress while taking all Covid – 19 measures to ensure students are protected from the pandemic.
He said the school is enrolling fulltime classes , weekend and open distance learning (ode-l).
Some of the programmes which the students being offered include Diploma in management studies, Bachelor of Accountancy, Bachelor of Arts in Health Systems Management.
Other programs include Bachelor of arts in human Resource Management, Bachelor of business Administration, Bachelor of arts in Logistics and supply chain Management and postgraduate programmes of Masters and Phd 36 months.
