Democratic Progressive party (DPP) member of parliament for Chiradzulu south Josephy Mwanamvkha has denied allegations that he was lobbying for shadow minister to leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa as shadow information Minister of Mark Botoman said.
Mwanamvekha said he did not lobby for the position saying all allegations that Botoman is saying are false.
In his part Bottoman said Mwanamveka was lobbying for position of shadow finance minister and he was appointed by leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa saying every one has right to resign.
The development comes after Nankhumwa appointed 33 shadow ministers and Bright Msaka who was appointed as shadow ministers of justice and Joseph Mwanamveka was appointed as shadow minister of finance resigned from the position.
Both Mwanamveka and Msaka said resigned because the DPP leadership was not consulted to the development.
But Bright Msaka was not comment for the development, this happen when the the DPP guru’s are battling for the party presidency.
Former President Peter Mutharika through his spokesperson Shadrick Namalomba challenged the cabinet.
