Following our earlier revelation about the glaring sabotage at the Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA), we have gone an extra mile sharing additional information on how the dirty scheme is executed.
Inside sources shared some details in confidence, exposing those behind the evil act. Confidants have it that procurement contracts are timely processed by PPDA technical personnel and submitted to the Director General, Eddington Chilapondwa, for approval.
Chilapondwa in conjunction with the Board Chairperson, Council John Suzi Banda, deliberately sit on procurement documents, they unceremoniously pend their signatures, in the process, delaying implementation of development plans in MDAs.
It’s has also come to our knowledge that the two senior personnel are serving the interests of a certain senior politician who is clandestinely fighting Chakwera leadership. All they want is to frustrate execution of Chakwera administration development plans.
People of Chilapondwa and John Suzi Banda calibre don’t deserve to be in such positions of authority. Their actions remain cancerous to Chakwera administration.
The delay is against the spirit of good governance.
This rubble at PPDA needs to be cleared immediately in order to develop Malawi.
You are very right.
I support you frank…. Malawi is going nowhere if it continues like this. We need to rise up and open our eyes. Its high time the authorities show some real action
