Malawi President Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera has condoled the Chinchen Family in the United States of America (USA) on the passing of Dr. Paul Chinchen.
The late Dr. Chinchen died yesterday at home in Mississippi, USA.
Until his death, Dr Chinchen was Chancellor of African Bible College (ABC), President of ABC Christian Academy, ABC Clinic and African Blessings Institute.
According to a statement from the State House released on Thursday, Chakwera said together with the First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera, they are deeply shocked with the death of Dr. Chinchen.
“It was only a month ago that I held an audience with Dr Chinchen at my office in preparation for my presiding over the graduation ceremony of the African Bible College an institution whose campuses he built and led in three countries not knowing that our good bye at that time would be final,” said the statement.
“Not only will I remember him for his immeasurable contribution to christian work across Africa but also for his love of Christ, his devotion to Malawi, his kindness to my family and his prayers for me.”
