President Dr Lazarus Chakwera is in Geneva Switzerland where he has various official engagements.
Amongst others, Chakwera is holding bilateral talks with several organisations’ heads in a bid to get investors and donors.
Chakwera is in Switzerland until Wednesday, 23rd February, 2022.
Chakwera and the First Lady, Madam Monica Chakwera kicked off their official engagements in Geneva, Switzerland by meeting in audience with representatives of the Malawian Community.
According to schedule , Chakwera has already held a series of meetings, including meeting with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Chebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organisation ( WHO), and meeting with his Excellency Federico Villegas, President of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
The President has also met the world Council of Churches and is today expected to hold a meeting with Mr Philips Amon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of SICPA.
President Chakwera’s official visit, will be concluded on Wednesday as he holds a meeting with Mr Peter Sands, Executive Director of the Global Fund before departing Geneva International Airport during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022.
