Visiting the Kamuzu Palace upon invitation by President Chakwera, the group brought with them samples of the electric motorcycles they are locally building.

The motorcycles are free from carbon emissions and President Chakwera had a chance to test ride himself.

Having tested one of the motorcycles, President Chakwera thanked the group for the initiative saying the young engineers have vindicated him on his message of transforming Malawi from a mindset of consumption to one of production.

Further, President Chakwera said the initiative by the group is a positive contribution to the Malawi 2063 vision of becoming self-reliant, industrialized, middle income nation.

President Chakwera has since encouraged the company to develop a strategy for scaling up production that can benefit from Government’s business-friendly policies.
