UDF Parliamentarian Jolobala applauds Ministry of Health for opening Kawinga martenity ward

Member of Parliament for Machinga East Constituency, Esther Jolobala has commended Government effort of ensuring that people have access to marternal health within the rich.
Jolabala her people in the constituency will have opportunity to access for martenal services.
She has since commended Deputy Minister of Health Enock Phale for visiting Kawinga Health Centre and restoring the mertenal health services.
Writing on her Facebook page Jolobala says Kawinga Health centre has been a facility without martenity wing for long time.
“Hon members join me in thanking the minister and deputy for health,  for their support to the people of Machinga East Constituency. Last of last week the deputy minister for health visited my area to appreciate the wash projects at Ntaja and Kawinga health centres¹ at kawinga health centre the deputy minister noticed that maternity services had not yet started due to some challenges that could have been sorted at district level.”
Jolobala says the Deputy Minister was so touched and ordered for immediate reopening.
“The deputy minister ordered the  DC and DHSS that the maternity section must open within 14days. Today I am happy to inform you that the maternity wing is now open and the above picture is the first female child to be born today and her name is HADASSAH named after the hon deputy minister’s daughter. Thank you again deputy minister for health job well done. Munamenya matebulo mutakwiya kuti zinthu sizikuyenda, zikomo ku mpando azimai onse akuthokoza zoyenda 20km kupita pa Ntaja health centre kwatha. NKHOSWE ya amai inuyo. Zikomo.
