The Ugandan Leader of Opposition Mathias Mpuuga is leaving the country this afternoon after a successful official visit.
The National Unity Platform leader in Parliament and his delegation arrived in the country on Monday for a five day long tour that was cut short due to the sudden death of Uganda’s Speaker of Parliament.
On Tuesday afternoon, Hon. Mpuuga and his delegation attended Parliamentary session before proceeding to a meeting with a Malawian opposition delegation led by Hon. Kondwani Nankhumwa, Malawi’s Leader of Opposition in Parliament.
The plane carrying Hon Mpuuga will depart Kamuzu International Airport at 13:45 this afternoon and will be seen off by his Malawian counterpart, Hon. Kondwani Nankhumwa.
